DataZone is a leading consulting and integrator for data services representing a variety of data solutions (Elastic, AWS, Couchbase, Google, Microsoft to name a few). However, not many people knew of our existence. As the Marketing Manager of the company, I wanted to elevate the brand's profile while generating new opportunities for our sales team.
I reached out to our partners; AWS, Google Cloud, Microsft Azure, Elastic, Couchbase and a couple of others and invited them to participate in a month that was entirely dedicated to Data Solutions. Its goals were:
Raise awareness to the company and its many data services
Demonstrate expertise and knowledge through workshops, lectures, 1:1 meetings and more
Big Data Month featured 10 separate events that included breakfast events, meetups & workshops on a variety of data-related topics (NoSQL, Big Data, Machine Learning and more). Different events were tailored to different target audiences (by seniority, job title & company size).

Invited big data specialist from a variety of hi-tech startups
Built the agendas with the relevant SMEs
Worked closely with the graphic designer to make my vision come to life
Handled registration before and during the events
Managed banner advertising
Worked with a PR company to create and publish articles & interviews to promote the event
Briefed & managed follow-up telemarketer for appointment settings
Selected, branded and procured different giveaways for each of the sponsors
The events were publicised through a multitude of channels: email marketing, media banners, paid social media, content, PR and telemarketing. Overall, the campaign resulted in:
